Obama pledges new US relations with Europe

Well, isn't that nice?
STRASBOURG, France – Welcomed with thunderous cheers,President Barack Obama pledged on Friday to repair damaged relations with Europe, saying the world came together following the 2001 terrorist attacks but then "we got sidetracked by Iraq."
Oh, being victims of French, German, and Russian duplicity is "being sidetracked", is it?

I am not so willing to forget that France and Germany obstructed the invasion of Iraq because they were getting sweetheart deals from Saddam Hussein. During that time, Russia helped Iraq hide their biologic weapons programs, using their trucks to move the evidence to Syria.

Obama has his head up his ass. But he isn't all poof:
… in Europe, there is an anti-Americanism that is at once casual, but can also be insidious. Instead of recognizing the good that America so often does in the world, there have been times where Europeans chose to blame America for much of what's bad," Obama said.
Amen to that.
He held the campaign-like event in the midst of his first European trip as president.
Of course. When you lack actual ideas or the capacity to lead, you campaign. It's what he does.
